Discipleship for the teenaged believer

The writer of the 119th Psalm asked the question: "How can a young man keep his way pure?” He then gave a succinct, simple answer: “By living according to your (God's) word.” (Ps 119:9) In a dark seductive world young men - and young women - face an ever increasing burden to conform to the depraved standards of culture and society. It is critical that the teenaged believer channel the energy and passion of youth into cultivating a relationship with God, attaining deep conviction from the Holy Spirit of what is honorable and good, learning to walk in the footsteps of their Lord Jesus, loving what he loved and hating evil, and sharing the Good News with the lost world.

It is our desire, with this class, to help the teenaged Christian to obtain these qualities, beginning with the practice of living obediently to God's word.
